Sunday Services

Our Sunday Morning Services are at 10:30 in the Binley Woods Village Hall.  The Village Hall is on the south side of Rugby Road, with a large car park at the rear.  Disabled parking spaces are at the front.

All are welcome.  Whether you want to rejoice and give thanks for new blessings, or sit quietly through the service in God's presence, or seek help and healing, or just want to take a look, you will receive a warm and considerate welcome.

Our services normally end before 12.00 noon, and afterwards you can stay for tea or coffee and a chat.

We welcome children.  On most Sunday mornings the children take part in the first part of the service, and then go to their own teaching in a separate room.  Other times, the service is geared to provide interest for all ages.

What we do:  In our worship we draw on the richness of Christian worship styles, especially those from our Anglican and Baptist roots.  We have Holy Communion around twice a month which is open to all who know and love the Lord Jesus, and there are regular slots with a topic on mission and service and on prayer for healing.

During the summer holiday period, there is a difference!  The Home Page has a Looking Ahead section which lists different and special services and events.

FRIDAY TG

If you don’t do Sundays — if you can’t do a Sunday — if you want to explore faith in a different environment…

On the third Friday of every month is FRIDAY TG – Friday Thank God!

FRIDAY TG is a 50 minute café style church, meeting at 6.30pm for encouragement and informal discussion.

Children have their own activities too, so do come as a family if you wish.

Easter: Every year we have special services for Easter, starting on Palm Sunday, the week before Easter.  There is often an event in the evening on Maundy Thursday.  On Good Friday there is usually a service at midday and a service with music and meditation in the evening.  The service on Easter Sunday morning is a special service for all the family with Holy Communion, to celebrate Jesus’ victory over death.

Christmas: Our special Christmas services start on the Sunday before Christmas.  Services include a midnight Communion on Christmas Eve and a Family Communion service on Christmas morning.  There are also usually a special events at Topz Club, and a Christmas Meal at Open Door.
