Our Link Mission Partners are David and Rine Ingleby

David and Rine Ingleby are CMS mission partners in training, preparing to go out to North India with their two young children Sem and Joanna.

CMS partners in India are currently defining the exact placement and roles.  However, it is expected that Rine will be involved in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), member care and cross-cultural support and Dave involved in administration/ project management support, with a specific focus on community development/the informal housing sector.

Dave was born in South India where his parents were working at Hebron School, an international school primarily catering for the children of missionaries working throughout Asia.  Rine was bom in her home state, Mizoram, in North-East India, but grew up in different parts of North India as her missionary parents were involved in medical mission, community development and church planting.

Dave studied Development and Planning at University and Rine has a Masters in Contemporary Missiology.  They both feel that their studies have helped them understand more about mission and serving God in a needy world.

They will be going at a time when, despite the global recession, India's economy is gaining in strength and the country is taking its place as a major player on the world stage.  But behind the image of increasing prosperity and self confidence, poverty and inequality persists in India, dominating the lives of millions.  It is also a time when Christians are suffering increasing persecution.

Their “going into mission” with CMS has been quite a long time coming as they both felt a strong calling long before they met each other.  They have been amazed at the way God has brought them together and how he is leading them into the work that lies ahead.  Their vision is one of the holistic gospel; God's love for all people and his particular concern for those on the margins.
