My dear Friends,

As always this comes with love for you all!  I have arrived safely in the UK and have been home now for nearly three weeks.  Many of my expatriate friends and Karen friends came to Chiang Mai Airport to say ‘good-bye’ and it was hard to leave them!  However, I really felt surrounded by God’s peace and felt in my heart that this was the time to leave.  My family, church family and friends have really given me a warm welcome back to the UK and it feels good to be back in my own home in Wolston.  Thank you so much for praying for me over the past few weeks.  Please keep on praying.

The past couple of months in Chiang Mai were given to packing up my things etc … Since I returned home I’ve been unpacking things and arranging my house … My sea luggage arrives this Thursday so I will have some more boxes to unpack!  I’m wondering where I’m going to put everything …

You will be pleased to know that my medical in London went well and the doctor thought I was physically very well!  I’ve also been to BMS for de-briefing and that was fine.  So now I have started my Home Assignment and I’m visiting my Link Churches in the UK!

I thought I would give you my schedule for the next three months and ask you to pray for me as I share my news about the Karen.  The dates are as follows:

13th-14th June: Ponthenri Link Up Group
I had a really good time visiting three churches in South Wales and I thank the Lord for that.

19th-21st June: Worcester East Link Up Group
Redditch, Alcester, Cookhill, Studley, and Stock Green Baptist Churches

4th-5th July: Coventry B Link Up Group
The Church in Binley Woods, and Meredith Road and Lawrence Saunders Road Baptist Churches.

11th-12th July: Warwickshire East Link Up Group
Attleborough, Nuneaton, and Bedworth Baptist Churches

17th-20th July: Norwich A Link Up Group
Central Baptist Church, Norwich and Cotessey Baptist Church

25th-26th July: W.E.S.B.A. Link Up Group
I will be visiting churches in Wiltshire &ndash Devizes, Melksham and Calne Baptist Churches

31st July - 2nd August
A weekend for missionaries returning to live in the UK. This weekend will be held at our BMS Mission Centre in Birmingham.

August
I’m hoping to take a welcome break and go on holiday to Wales and Derbyshire!!  I’m looking forward to seeing my friends there.

29th-30th August: Leicester North-West Link Up Group
Visiting churches in Ashby de la Zouch and Ibstock.

I hope to have a new computer in the next few days and will be connected to the Internet by the end of June.  I will send a quick e-mail around when everything is up and running!

My friend Sandy Gould is travelling from the US to the UK tomorrow and I will be going to London Heathrow to collect her!  She will be staying with me for a few days and then she will attend a Wycliffe Bible Translators’ Conference at Horsley's Green.  I’m looking forward to her visit very much.
